IPL (Intense Pulsed Light)
What is it and how does it work…?
Intense Pulsed Light:
Also known as photo-facial and photo-rejuvenation, IPL is based on emitting high intensity pulses of light (not lasers) to penetrate the skin and enhance your skin with minimal downtime.
The Solari System has cutting edge technology which guarantees precise treatment and minimal side effects. This system is reliable, safe, fast and very effective. It offers a range of treatments for the skin as well as for hair removal.
All Luxe & Co Therapists who perform these treatments are Qualified IPL Safety Officers, trained by the very best. You must book a Consultation prior to having any of the below treatments done, including if you have had IPL or Laser elsewhere previously.
We offer the following areas to be treated:
6 - 12 sessions are recommended, ranging between 2 - 6 week intervals. The interval between your sessions depends on the area being treated, your Therapist will advise you on this at your consult.
POST TREATMENT: is extremely important and your Therapist will go over all at your booked treatment. But additional warning, prior to any treatments you need to:
- avoid UV exposure 1 - 6 weeks beforehand
- not receive any waxing to the area to be treated minimum of 6 weeks beforehand
- shave the area to be treated 12 - 24 hrs before your appointment
A ‘quick fix’ procedure to restore a youthful glow. The treatment stimulates new collagen to form in the skin, therefore reducing the appearance of fine lines, minimising pre size, acne scars and increasing skin elasticity.
